Joy Menon founded Merchandising Eye in 2013, translating her passion and experience in sales, retail and design into consulting and training services that help small businesses strengthen customer relationships and sell more offerings.


An admirer of the arts, she obtained her Associate of Arts Degree in Fashion Merchandising at International Fine Arts College in Miami and in 2006, persued her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree in Graphic Design at Miami International Universtiy of Art and Design. 


Joy entered the luxury brand industry in 1998. Her persistance and determination for growth and development served as a guide, which molded her career from sales and management, to eventually becoming Director of Brand Communications for a global mens and womens fashion line.


Traveling worldwide and being exposed to various sides of the industry throughout her career, including luxury, specialty and affordable price points, Joy realized she wanted to share her large-scale talents and expertise with smaller businesses. 


Upon her company's relocation to Los Angeles, she decided to stay in South Florida, while further strengthening her skills in marketing, sales management and social media. 


Her eye for color, visual harmony and clean design, combined with her vision of a holistic, practical approach to marketing, sales and training inspired her to create Merchandising Eye.


Joy is also a part time writer, contributing to publications with varied topics, including retail, branding, customer development and trends.
